Skip the "glacier bay" and other El cheapo fausets. We have had a glacier bay in our kitchen sink for 5 years and replaced it with the exact same one 3 times.
The next time around we are shelling out some coin for a decent delta or kohler.
We have hard water here and I was advised that I should "flush" my water tank every few years to go about cleaning out sediment.
Can someone explain this process? It will be on a less than 5 yr old "12 Year GE 50 gal."
Just as it says, I am in the search for a good home owners plumbing snake so I do not have to call the city every time the old pipes get jammed up. I only need something in the 25-30 foot range. It is only 20 feet from cleanout to city trap.
