    Sink venting question

No. This line and the septic line are on opposite sides of the house and are not connected in any way.

    Sink venting question

That's not good... :( No. The septic line comes through the wall higher than this line by two blocks. I have no idea what code in my area is. I'm doing all the work myself with no inspections. Plumbing drains is really the only thing i didn't already have experience doing.

    Sink venting question

My kitchen sink, sump pump, and washing machine all use the same drain line that is currently not vented. When the sump pump kicks on it blows bubbles in the kitchen sink, then when it shuts off it siphons some of the water out of the trap and gurgles. There is no toilet connected to this line...

    Need some drain help

Ok... I've been throwing ideas around and I think I've got something that will work... This is views from a couple angles, but my rough idea. The way I drew it, the sink and shower go into the top of a 3x3x2 sanitary T. Only the sinks vent goes through the roof, the showers goes to the sink...

    Need some drain help

Crap. This means I'm going to have to make one wall thicker. Does any horizontal section of vent have to be sloped towards a drain? Does the shower have to be vented? Another thing, currently the sink drain drops down through the floor. If i had to move it into a wall with a vent it would...

Anything good going on in here?

Still a little wet around here. We're itching to get started but waiting on the weather. In other news I've started fixing up an old house. That's why I came back for some plumbing advice.

    Need some drain help

I'm redoing my bathroom and need some advice on how to redo the drains. Here's a drawing of what I have now: I'd like to keep the toilet and sink where they are, but the tub will be replaced by a shower so I'll need to redo that part. The current toilet drain is cast iron with the sink and...

No idea... I really hope the weather does what they say... low to mid 70's... :D As long as there is sun and a little breeze we may shell some corn near the end of the week...

Basically the crops die, then the dry down, then we harvest it. In a perfect world we would shell corn at about 17% moisture and beans about 15% if we are storing it in the bins.

So i spent pretty much the whole day installing a Gear Vendors overdrive on my truck only to have it not only not work, but take out reverse too... $600 wasted... Guess i'll find another factory driveshaft and go back to stock... :(

Maybe the $17k was just depreciation...yea...that's it... 100 gal a day? That's cute... :D Our track tractor can use up to 300 gal a day if you work it for 11-12 hours hard. Pulling the disc-ripper it uses 25-28 gallons an hour of diesel. And he just bought another one... :D...

Rentals, or lease. I don't know if we own ours outright or make payments. We trade up about every two years so that helps. Boss said it costs us about $17k a year to run and keep the combine.

    The Otah Thread

Mark, it's only about $504k....not including the head... :D
