    Those two wires must to running from the thermostat (which is located in the living room hallway) all the way to the utility closet where the water heater / pump is at, to control the pump as you have state.. this makes a lot of sense now.. in theory, I could unplug it during the warmer season...

    oh yeah, we have a thermostat in the house that controls our furnace (it’s a First Co Horizonal Fan Unit) that has AC and heating via water.. I guess when it’s hot enough in the house than it would just shut off the fans (hot water will still be flowing through the furnace)..

    I was hoping to run it continuously during winter time, and unplug it when it gets warm during summer time.. as our 900 sq ft condo gets hot water to faucets rather quick... and we only want to use it for the heating furnace..

    Hello Jeff, thank you for your reply. Out of curiosity (trying to learn), why would I need a thermostat? Also, I have a closed loop system that flows hot water to the ceiling furnace and back to the water heater.. would running the pump continuously affect the plumbing in any negative way...

    Thank you for the reply’s. I ended up getting GE silicone 2 caulk for its neutral curing.

    Need to seal gaps around copper pipe that is coming out of a dry wall.. Looking for a type of silicone / caulk that would do the job without corroding copper pipe.. Any brand recommendation, or type that I can grab from Lowe's or HD? Thanks!

    The pump is used to circulate hot water to a furnace in the ceiling... I've replaced it with the same type of pump, but a slightly different model.. internals are completely different than the previous one. It was also powered by a outlet cord + those two wires..2 by Andrei posted Oct 13, 2019...

    Perhaps this is the correct image, the circulation of water.. (image attached...) Is it also acceptable to use it for both heating and domestic water use without separation by heat exchangers? I am unaware what are heat exchangers, forgive me, learning more on this subject as I write this...
