Do appreciate the info. One more question please. The drain stack is 4 in PVC . "install a 4x3 closet collar INTO the 4'' pipe" Are you saying use 4x3 collar into the drain stack ?? Thank you again- WP50

New to the place so Hello from W. Texas. Have removed all the cast iron drain pipe from our home. 1926 model. My question is the pipe under the toilet I'm told is a closet bend ???? . Sites seem to bring up cast iron closet bend but am going back with PVC. What should I look for to replace the...- WP50
