    Sewage ejector discharge line

Hello i bought a Liberty Simplex pump system for a garage bathroom, when I had the garage built, I had a 3” pipe installed through the concrete floor, now six years later I’m putting in a bathroom on the second floor with the intention of having the pump buried outside the garage. When I...

    Sewage in pipe before septic

I'm not using a macerator pump, they are not recommended for septic tanks because they grind up everything too fine that the particles can float over the second chamber of the tank and into the bed.

    Sewage in pipe before septic

the difference in elevation from pump outlet to septic tank inlet is about 1'- 2'. But I can't go straight from garage to septic tank because the cottage is in between them. That's why I was thinking of going under the cottage and then join the 4" main drain. I could also come up under the...

    Sewage in pipe before septic

Thanks for everyone's replies, I hadn't thought about setting the float higher. I was thinking of getting the Liberty pro380 side discharge system 24" x 24" with a 41 gallon capacity so I guess it won't come on until it can pump enough to make it to my main drain pipe. I guess there will always...

    Sewage in pipe before septic

I plan on putting a two piece bath in my garage, it will be around 100' away from my septic tank. It won't be used often and I was wondering if might be making myself a lot of headaches. If someone has a crap and flushes, the sewage won't make it all the way to the septic tank before the pump...

Pump from garage to cottage septic

Thanks for the info, I didn't think I could blow out the 2" line. I guess I will have the one end open under the cottage but the other end closest to the pump will have a check valve on it that would stop the ice from moving that way. How about using poly instead abs pipe to help decrease the...

Pump from garage to cottage septic

I had thought about blowing it out, I have a wet sauna about a hundred feet away that I blow the line out for the winter but it is only 3/4". I wasn't sure that I could blow a 2" line out. It only has a slight uphill climb to the cottage but then it will rise about three feet to join the main 4"...

Pump from garage to cottage septic

That's all fine but what I'm talking about is that the water in the line after the pump to the cottage that will freeze ( the pump stops when the float drops it doesn't keep going until the line is cleared.

Pump from garage to cottage septic

Hi all I have built a garage about 100' from my cottage and want to put a toilet and sink on second floor, I was thinking about putting a Little Giant system on the main floor and pumping underground ( when the garage was built I had a 4" pipe installed through floor and out to the side) to...
