    xps foam under water heater

    Can I put XPS foam, the pink stuff 2" under my water heater to raise it off the ground and help it insualte better from the cold concrete floor? Will the xps foam want to shrink or sink after a long time? Thanks

    New construction home with 85PSI,

    I have public water with a new house with a meter pit. Water line is about 300 feet long. I ran a 1" pex line from the main over to my pex manifold. I tested the psi in the house and it is at 85psi. Is this anything to worry about? I do like have good pressure when washing hands but some people...

    pressure test drain

    I got everything set up and it seems to held 5psi for about 15 to 20 min then it dropped 1 to 1.5 psi after 30 mins. Should I worry about this at all or is it fine since it did not drop in the first 15 minutes? Thanks

    Hello, I have public water and 1" line stubbed in the foundation. It is new construction. Should I run a 3/4" or 1" pex line to the manifold?
