    Burn pipe to fit

I agree. That's Bull crapp! That pipe coming out of stab looks like it's in the wall to me. What's the finish wall ? Stucco? What building code are you under. I'm sure there something That says you can't do that. Building Inspectors ARE NOT QUALITY CONTROL. They don't always see every thing. I'm...

    Ice maker drain not installed

My experience with floor drains in a home is that If you ever have a sewer back up on you, it's all gonna come up out of that floor drain. Then you'll wish you had designed it with the pump in the 1st place.

    Fog Horn Noise

Claify You say it's not the burner kicking on that make the noise but when water is flowing. Some WH have heat traps in the nipples for water supply connection. They used to make them with a floating ball in the cold side and a stainless steel ball on the hot. They tend to rattle. They replace...

    Fog Horn Noise

did you add an expansion tank with the new heater? This is something that creates a fog horn noise. Could be a coincident that it started with new heater. Also check you water pressure. That could be a major contributor to problem...

Brass fitting stuck in concrete slab supply line

Just goes to show that old dawgs can still learn new tricks. I have never seen left handed drill bits. We have a left hand thread 2 - 1/2' pipe tap at the shop. makes a cool door stop.

Brass fitting stuck in concrete slab supply line

They have a cheap version of a nipple extractor for landscapers to remove plastic nipples. They are usually a tapered aluminum extractor and don't work very well for brass. This is what comes to mind when someone says EZ out. I have a set of these. use them mostly for taking out broken test...

    Clawfoot tub supply connection impass

1/2" compression. Not a vey common size. Sometimes wrongly called out. The tubing would be 1/2" OD and not confused with 5/8 tube which is often referred to as 1/2" copper pipe. once in a while and I mean maybe the last time I ran into it was about 3-4 years ago. old dishwasher had 1/2 OD copper...

Toilet bowl keeps filling up!!! UGH...

That's a tough one to read. Presuming the tank filled before he flushed it, or did it fill at all. Wrong flapper maybe not closing. Then pulling the handle up to stop filling the bowl. ????? How's that for added confusion.

probably been leaking from day one. Did the installer solder any joints? flux can act like an acid and cause premature corrosion if he had a some on his hand when he installed the flex.

What size and slope for main drain?

I agree. With today’s ultra low flow toilets you get less water to carry [emoji90] down the tube. Use 3” and will carry waste a bit farther

Pinhole Leaks in Copper HW Piping

I have seen that type of deterioration in copper tube as well on both hot and cold piping. Had a house that only the H & C horizontal runs in ceiling to kitchen seemed to be effected. No galv piping. I think it has something to do with PH of water also but not really sure. Sorry I’m not much...

    Wobbley kitchen faucet

You’re probably right about tightening from top. That pin/rod next the shoe probably stops the rotation of the shoe as you tighten from top. Doesn’t look like that would hold a kitchen faucet very secure
