    Pressure reducer replacment

In a 2 gallon expansion tank, I think the max psi is 80 psi. With all the charges, I honestly don’t think it’s a bad price. I get a lot of customers complain all the time “it’s too high, omg that’s robbery”. I would suggest to the customer to find a 1 man show and maybe it’ll be cheaper. Trying...

How much to replace PEX piping in wall

I’m in Denver and my company would charge roughly $800. That’s with no drywall involved.

oil and rocks in galvanized pipe help!

Frodo is correct. I installed a backflow device last night and galvanize through the whole building. Iron ductile coming in. Discharge line kept leaking. All I could do is suggest a repipe. It’ll continue to happen.

    Crack in bathroom sink trap

I was recently at a house in highlands ranch Colorado, psi to the house is 120. Wow! Anyways the guy needed new shutoffs under a sink. He ended up doing it himself. I quoted him $399.00 for a prv, and 99$ each shut off. He refused, used shark bites, and called back and the shark bites blew off...

Help! What to do with old drain pipes coming out of floor before repouring concrete

That’s a drum trap you have under ground. Basically that sink is being doubled ptrapped. I would excavate that out. In case you put another sink there in the future, I would take the drum trap out and repipe.

Floor drain back up in basement - HELP!

Is that only backing up when you drain the washer? Kitchen and laundry could tie in with each other. Usually if you have that much sludge I’m pretty sure that floor drain also ties in with the kitchen drain. Does it back up when you use the kitchen? Just the washer?

Any cheaper or DIY fix of sewage line little roots that just got drilled thru, short of a Hydro-Jet?

I agree with what the plumber wanted to do. Yes it’s a lot of money. From my end I deal with this all the time. Unfortunately you do have roots. You could do preventative maintenance for a while. However there is a separation from pvc to clay. That separation will only get worst. That’s until...

Replacing anode rod in water heater

I believe it’s a Watts I installed a different set up. You can use those same unions. They have them at Home Depot for $66 I think. I could be wrong

I would flush your tankless as well. When was the last time it was serviced?

    Broken pipe for bathtub spout

You will probably run into issues trying to take that out from the front side. Is that cpvc? Is it pvc threaded into brass? Just like CT18 said, I would cut from the back side and replace it. You might have to anyway.
