    The shower head is pretty old. It doesn’t even have a cartridge. After disassembling, it seemed to be in good shape. I’m not home at the moment but I believe the meter is 1/2”. Here’s a pic I took but can’t tell if it shows in it.

    Update: I bought a cast iron specific blade and cut the pipe roughly as indicated in frodo's suggestion. Now I just need to go pick up a bit of 4" pvc pipe and I can glue it all together and move on!
