DWV fittings from home to septic tank

Down through the years I've set up 4 different single wide mfg homes (for me to live in). When it came to connecting the home to the septic tank it always seemed a little goofy to me. The pipe into the tank has to have a little drop to it and the available fittings were either 45 or 90 degrees...

    Cisterns and pumps

You said "I am surprised you get 3 years with normal house use". So am I, however I would call it light use for a small rural house (older mobile home) with a 12 gallon hot water tank. The wife and I don't flush the toilet every time. The pump did develop a leak at the bottom of the faceplate...

    Cisterns and pumps

You can take an eraser to the well pump part of the drawing. The rest looks not too bad. I've got a pic of what I have in this mfg home I want to sell with the land. The weakest part of this setup is the cheap asian pump which lasts about 3 years. This is what happens if you're low on bucks...

How to keep someone from tampering with a pressure check

That box thing isn't very secure. Anyone with a screw driver could get into that and you don't build boxes on the side of an mfg home if you don't own it yet. Maybe after the test. Also you want a donation. I already said "My social security isn't cutting it." It's even worse after heart...

    Cisterns and pumps

This part of the forum was as close as I could get. .... Those who have to drill 1000 feet or more to get water will usually resort to a cistern. I'm just puzzled about what kind of pump to use and how to hook (placement) it up so it meets code. Note: Many areas in the Rocky mountains allow...

How to keep someone from tampering with a pressure check

WOW... That's a huge box for such a small house (just kidding). It might work. Thanks :)

How to keep someone from tampering with a pressure check

There's no way to know how honest a seller is especially now - I never thought I'd ever see people (companies) buy up whole mobile home parks so they can flip the homes. This makes affordable housing into unaffordable housing. We're at an all time low when it comes to decency and my social...

USA Politics-Once upon a time there was a Great Nation

I just briefly looked at the first few posts. Didn't open any links. What I'm thinking is that our so called government is ruled by the ultra rich. Solution - Hunt them down, boil them and have a big feast

How to keep someone from tampering with a pressure check

Hi ..... I'm going to be looking at a vacant mobile home in a rural area. It was never hooked up to any water source. I know how to hook up a pressure gage to the outside spigot and pump up the pipes with pressure. I had to do it on the home I'm in now. What I'm wondering is, how do I keep...
