Hi all, I'm trying to replace an old, rusted-thru water expansion tank, but I can't get it to budge. Should I try using a propane torch to loosen the connection? Also, not sure why water's still dripping from the bottom of the tank, even after I shut off the water inlet valve.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to Lowe's, and neither they nor I could id it using their catalog. They don't carry that size (size 8) anyway. The valve is probly pretty old, maybe 20+ years. Previous owner did a pretty good job stripping the nut!
