    Sump pump lifespan.

Just curious . I have a Zoeller m53 sump pump that has been working just fine . I installed it on 4-08-2015 , after the original pos that came with the house crapped out after two years. Just wondering on what I can expect on the lifespan for this pump. I do have a water powered back up pump...

    Leak under faucet

Yea, the water was running under the plastic since the faucet was loose. Found out why the nuts were installed upside down . If installed normally , the nuts are too thick, or should I say the hot/cold threaded pipes coming down from the faucet are too short. So the plumber broke the wings off...

I saw a cross section of the pipe, it looked like sediment build up but was described as...

    Sump Pump discharge

I have a sump pump discharge line on the exterior wall of my home . Just lately , I have noticed that the overflow elbow is spitting water . I measured about 16 ounces overnight. This just started and I am wondering what might be causing the water to discharge from this elbow. Could a partial...

    sump pump issues

Let's see... you are getting water into the sump pit when a tub is drained . The sump is designed to collect water from the drain tiles . This should only be for ground water collecting near the foundation . Sounds like there may be a leak in the buried drain pipe which is dumping water into the...

    New basement sink

I am in the process of adding a sink in a bar area in my basement . I would like to tee into an existing drain line for the sink . I would need to tee in about ten inches above the cleanout on the same side as the cleanout . This should give enough room to access the cleanout , and give me...
