I need to replace the washer seats in a shower/tub faucet but I am having a difficult time finding the correct seat. I looked at Homedepot/Lowe's and found a Pfister #39 which is the correct size but not the correct thread.
When I say "not the correct thread" I mean that the Pfister #39 has coarse thread while the Kohler seat that I removed from the faucet has fine thread.

So, because I'm having a terrible time finding the correct seat, does anyone know of an online store that I would/should be able to find what I'm looking for?
Also, does anyone have any idea of the size/part # I should buy. I know that I've not given much info but without being a plumber myself all I can do is give a comparable part which is the Pfister #39.

You could go to a plumbing supply house and see if they have it by showing them the seat you could contact kohler give them the information and they possibly could send you out new replacements

I always found going to your main hardware store like Ace . They always carry a large variety of seats and stems.
They have a guage that can get you the correct seat and thread as long as you have the old one with you.

Most Kohler T/S valves used a barrel typ seat that pulled out with the stem.
I have a plumbmaster catalog that shows a T/S valve with a replaceable seat.
If you go on-line to there web sight and punch in their part # it changes 1 digit and only shows the lav/kitchen version of the seat ,of which is more popular and available.

Cat.no was 30092 and lav/kit # was 30002
Here are some Kohler # for that faucet. try a search with these faucets #K-10606, k-10612, k-11606, k-11612, k-11616
I came up empty.

Maybe time to replace the valve

I have been to a plumbing warehouse (which Kohlers website suggested) with not luck. I am currently looking for more in my area.
