Ugh. I know the feeling-- that obnoxious tickle in the throat. Sometimes when I have mucus buildup I wish I could borrow one of the suction tools from a dentist and just vacuum out all of the goo.
I've got mild stuffy / runny nose but am still doing ok. I'm hoping I won't get sick again anytime soon.
I hope you guys feel better soon.
My brother just informed me that his boss put in 2-weeks notice to quit. The boss brought his mother (who is very ill) home to take care of her. His girlfriend was looking after her and doing pretty good at taking care of her until he got power of attorney from his mother, sold off all of her properties, & now has over $1million. His girlfriend (who talked him in to screwing over his employees and defrauding Pizza Hut on his hours) has been spending the $ like crazy and now that they have the woman's money, she has no interest in taking care of her. She just wants to spend the $ so the boss is quitting his job to take care of his mother full-time. His gf is a complete scumbag. She steals from her own children, ripped off her employees, but her boyfriend's property up for collateral on her own debts, & her restaurant failed bc she doesn't know how to run a business & refused to pay her employees (although she bragged on FB about how well she paid them while trash-talking the employees from Pizza Hut who were having to wash dishes from HER restaurant & make do without some of the supplies that she had her boyfriend steal from Pizza Hut). I wish I had proof & that the police would actually care bc she belongs in jail.
My oldest cat is starting to have mobility issues. He has trouble climbing and gets tired while walking, yowling, eating, or drinking and just lies down. He was yowling at my brother's door to get in and flopped down because he was exhausted. I carried him to my brother so my brother could hold him. He loves being held and cuddled so he was happy. But the last couple of days he's had trouble getting down from furniture or even going over small gaps. But he seems in good spirits. Taking him to the vet would make things worse because he gets so frightened that last time I brought him in he had a full on panic attack that caused a seizure. I just hope he'll make it through the rest of the year and won't be in pain. For now, I've set up an antifatigue mat with an area rug on top of it (because he likes the texture of the rug) next to his waterer so he can lounge in his favorite spot.
