Help identify Roman tub faucet

I came across another odd faucet the other day. Having trouble identifying it. It’s definately not something common around my area. It’s from the 1980s.

My guess is that it’s Valley but I can’t get compatible pictures online to confirm. Any help is greatly appreciated!

My initial thoughts was that it was an older Moen. I didn't have a cartridge at the time to compare. I havent yet gone back to fix it (in between phases of some work for this customer). I haven't ever saw a Moen with those octagon handle extensions tho.

When I go back I'm gonna take some Moen 1224s and some valley cartridges just to be sure.
