This past Saturday, I got water up through the drain in my garage and my basement. The plumber couldn't get it unclogged and told me I must have a line break. They came back on Monday with a camera and said the break was right where the line exits my garage into my driveway. I approved the repair and they started yesterday. After clearing the clog at the break, now the lines don't line up at all and the pipe further back in the house is holding water, so they say there is either a break further back up the line, about 15 feet into the garage, or it's got a sag in the line. They can't tell with the camera because it's under water. They said they were going to put "feet" on the camera to get it above water level, but they just came back with a quote to fix it before doing so. What do you guys think? Pictures attached of the break outside the garage. What the plumbers told me is that it's kind of like a see saw. The pipe is lower 15 feet into the garage than it is where it enters the driveway. It should be the other way around of course.
