here's a new project i'm working on: slab on grade, 40x40, and i could use some help with the general layout plan. here's what i have so far:

not sure if i have asked the right questions. can someone recommend an alternate to what i have sketched to reduce pipe, trenching, or fittings?

lot easier to dig n a straiht line, that 45 will screw you if you get off by 1 degree

i like using side outlet san tees on rough in's, makes a quik rough in

this is a left hand 3'' san tee with a 2'' lh side outlet

this is right hand

here's the final plan. hopefully, this one will be clearer. I have the fittings arranged in the order that they will be placed, but the orientation of the fittings may not be correct in the photo. i'll adjust them in the assembly. All the 90 deg elbows are sweep elbows. I increased the main line to 4" prior to the last toilet and shower to handle the extra potential flow.
Please comment and green light if this looks good. I really appreciate your input. DIY projects can be tough to tackle, but with your help, i'm always willing to learn.

ps. i forgot to add the p trap for the water heater in the sketch. it is across from the island sink in the pantry. it's in the fittings picture. i'll go back and add it to the drawing next.

here's the plan. its a 40x100 building, with 40x40 living, and one half bath in work area.

ps. i didn't draw the whole foundation plan for this exercise. and i did take your advice to run straight lines and 45's to make it easier. the latest plan shows that mindset.

thanks Frodo! you have been a great help! I'll drop the water heater drain, and change the others per your notes. this build is in florida, and i had considered a bow vent just thought it may be easier to use the aav.

are they really as bad as some of the rumors? some have lifetime warranties now. would save me some cabinet space to use the aav.
