We bought an Ove toilet - one piece with hidden flange bolts. The problem is now that the toilet is set we can't reach the flange bolts to bolt down the toilet. Is there a special tool? Do we need a plumber to do this? Is there a special trick? #tiredandfrustrated.

I hate those toilets. What a garbage set up. You have to reach around the back like Frodo said to tighten the bolts. If it's too close to the wall, either just silicone the toilet to the floor, or get a better toilet.

We were wondering if the toilet had to be bolted down or not. No kidding double jointed... If my forearm would bend it'd be no problem.
Thanks for the responses.

Doesn't wobble or rock. 2 adults. No funny bid'ness. I guess we're going to get a plumber come out and contortion his arm with his tools. We are tired of messin' with it.

Never understood how a company stays in business with such horrible performance on their products. It's as if the toilet must be installed first, then the walls placed around it.

Decided to give it one more try with double drive ratchet. Ordered one so we'll see. It does seem to be a major flaw in the design and makes the "easy installation" claim null and void.

So, despite the try with the double drive ratchet... the toilet went back to Menards. They took it. Likewise the manager couldn't figure the design either. So.... now the search for another toilet. Must be narrow width - 15 a 16 inches to fit by the sink. Arggggghhh.
