The 2 piece steel basin lid for the tank for the basement bath is pretty well rusted from underneath. I'm hesitant to remove it to repair it as I think it might crumble in a couple of places. It measures 20 3/8" in diameter. The plumbing supply where I bought it years ago is out of business. Google has shown some of the correct size, but not steel and not 2 piece. Any leads on a source would be most appreciated.

Why not go plastic ??? If you can't find one make a template and have a welder or machinist make a new one.

Thank you. As noted in my original post, a plumbing supply is where I bought it originally. Also as noted, they are now defunct. I called around and no one was sure if they carry that one or not so I took a picture of it and noted all relevant dimensions. As I go about my business, if I pass a plumbing supply I'll stop in, show them the pic and hope I connect.

i read it was out of business,,I meant for you to go to one that was not out of business.

did not realise i needed to type it out...most companies sell the same name brand product.

chances are,,you will find a new top in his computer.if not

your next option,,stop off at a welders shop or scrap yard, get a piece of flat plate..use the old one as a templet for the bolt holes
