Hello,

I am trying to install two new faucets for a "double sink" counter. This requires using a "T", so I can split the water outlet to each of the faucets. (I've attached a picture so you can see...)

So I purchased a threaded copper "T" and then connected everything. I used lots of teflon tape, and made sure I wrapped the teflon so the wrap goes "with" the screwing in of the male connector into the female of the "T".

The problem is that no matter how tight I wrench the connectors to the "T"... it still leaks a tiny little bit. (Only a few drops per day...)

I've taken it all apart and replaced the teflon and retightened everything twice, yet it still leaks just a little bit.

What should I do? Do I just need to use more teflon tape? (I used maybe five "wrap-arounds" for each connector.)

Or should I use plumbers glue for the connectors? Or silicon on the connector threads? Sure, I won't be able to ever take off the connectors.. but that's not a problem since this setup isn't going to be going anywhere once it's leak-free. :)

Thanks for any help!

Try removing the Teflon and re-attach hoses..

Also, is the supply line the one coming from the wall in the background of the pic?

You shouldn't even have to use teflon. The faucet connectors have washers in them that seal. Check and make sure there isn't a hair line cracked in the T.

That doesn't look like the proper Tee to me.. I could be wrong too..
