Hello,

Good day to you all. I reach out to you all for some wisdom with the following question as it came up during a water softener installation I did.

I was cutting some piping for the water softener installation and while I was cutting the pipe, I was thinking, would there be any lead leeching from the fresh cut into my water supply after installation?

Am I overthinking this?

Thank you all in advance for your input.

Cheers,

Hello, I made a mistake on the title. I meant to type copper piping, but ended up typing brass... My apologizes for any confusion.

Cheers,

Sloppy post, but very unlikely to release any amount of lead to worry about.

And Geofd, good catch!!!
