I got an old house with many slow drippings everywhere! I am considering either finding and fixing the leaks using sharkbite or maybe repiping the entire house with PEX pipes? I’m talking about a DIY solution, so which would be less time consuming, and less expensive solution? It’s an old house that was abandoned and it’s 2 floors with a basement.

Not enough information provided to give you any good advice.

Tell a much longer, more complete story.

Describe what you have now, and post LOTS of pics of existing pipes, leaky spots, etc.

Of course the best solution is replace.
Always budget comes in to play.
Also, DIY leaves room for tons of big permanent mistakes.
There are is a reason that training matters.
Hire monkeys (or yourself) and you get what you pay for.
