I have a 3 bed 2.5 bath house and my toilets will bubble through the bowl then they wont flush at all. I had it backed up in the system had a plumber come out but naturally every was working just fine. What could be the issue. I'm a HVAC tech by trade never really had much experience with plumbing except for a water heater now and again. Thank you all.

Have your drain line cleared by someone like Roto-Rooter, all the way out to the street.
If there is no sewer clean-out in the yard or basement, crawl space, etc, they might have to take off one toilet and go through that way.

And have them check the plumbing vents going out through the roof, if one or more are partially blocked, that can cause toilet bubbling.

I dont know of any events through the roof. All 4 sinks have AAV's as well as both tubs. I tried to plunge the toilet in the half bath and water was coming up the sink drain in that bath.

Sounds like someone tried to fix this problem before. I would also look to the vents.

Not “events”, but “vents”.
Vents are the open pipes on the roof that attach to the plumbing drain system.
They allow sewer gas to escape, and provide intake air to allow water to drain properly.

Even if you have AAV’s at each fixture, there should be at least one drain stack vent going out the roof.
Unless you are in a mobile home or prefab home that somehow did not need them.
If so, please verify that.

Meanwhile, if you are plunging a toilet and the sink is backing up from that, you have a clogged drain line or clogged main drain line.
You need to hire a plumber to locate the lines that need to be snaked out.
There might only be a clog near that bathroom, or it could be anywhere all the way out to the street sewer.
Or septic field, whatever you have.

Please describe your housing situation in more detail, if you expect to get relevant answers.

Stick built house built in the mid 60s. Public sewage, well water it has been completely remodeled before we moved it.

I live near Chicago, and around here having the house sewer line rodded out costs between $100.00 to $200.00.

It will cost more if they have to pull up a toilet, but that is the way it goes.

This is sounding like a job for a pro, not a diy or Drano situation.

However, you obviously have mechanical skills, if you can lift a toilet and properly replace the wax seal, you can try renting a large drain cleaning machine from Home Depot or a rental store.
Or go through a house sewer line clean out if you have one, but you might still have to clean the line higher up in the house by pulling off a toilet.

With a house from the 60’s, you could easily have invading roots, or a collapsed or broken sewer line out in the yard.
Sometimes a pro can rod a partially collapsed line to buy you some time til it needs digging up.

Does the washing machine back up anywhere?

Or does it cause a backup in a sink nearby?

If not, then that is a good sign that the drain clog is higher up in the house.
Be sure to tell all the symptoms in detail, to anyone who comes to rod the drains out.

You can also try running the showers or tubs, and also washing machine and kitchen sink, all at once.
To overload the drain line, which might show you where the biggest problem is.
