Roots in Drain Under Foundation

At my home I have a large mass of roots in the ABS pipe. This is located under the concrete slab at ground level about 4ft from the toilet flange. I ran a rooter through the roots and hired a plumping company to inspect with a sewer camera. They recommend digging through the concrete and replacing the pipes. They also offer hydro jetting and applying RootX for a temporary fix.

The tree that produced the roots has been cut down, and the stump will be removed.

If I have the roots hydro jetted, and apply RootX, would water seepage through the gaps in the pipe where the roots used to be cause problems with my foundation? I'm trying to decide if I can avoid having the foundation dug up to replace the pipes.

I am not a plumber. Thanks in advance for any info.

I think you should get it fixed....if it doesn't effect you now it could come back and cause you problems later get a price from the company...it cant hurt....there is another method....there are companies out there that could line the pipe were you have close access to the compromised pipe it would be easier to line...I work for a large university in boston and when we cant dig we use the lining method it may be pricey but the would be not digging.....do some research on it and the companies that offer it around you....
