40 year old site evaluation and permit -- good today??

bought our house about ten years ago.
In the packet of info with the house, we received a site evaluation, with evaluator name, signature and license number. It also had the permit aplicants name and signature. The site eval was dated 1979 and permit early 1980.
The diagram specified two 4 foot wide leach fields. 36 inches of stone, with pipe, inch of hay, 8 inches sand and 3 inches topsoil.

i dont think this work was ever completed. can i use a 40 year old evaluation to get new permit to complete this work?
I dont want the added cost of redoing a site eval if its not neccessary.

no, codes change, permits are only good for 1 year,,and they most likely have a expire date for the eval.
try it, all they can do is say no,
