I just put in stone countertop and high dollar sink. I'm hiring a pro to plumb the new sink etc because I want a high quality job and my question is should I replace my 10 yr old disposal which works good or not and is my plumber going to think I'm crazy for replacing everything else and not the disposal? Thanks, Vic

I would personally replace it. Sounds like you want the best things so I would go with a nice Insinkerator disposal.

At least buy a new flange kit so it looks shiny and new from above

If it runs fine, looks ok and doesn’t leak and you are fine with it I would keep it. Make sure it does t smell or anything also and I believe someone else said it but just get a new disposal Flange so it all looks new and go with it. Disposals are easy to change if u need to change it out anyway.

Thanks for the help everybody. I am a DIYr but I could not be happier with my professional installation. This was money well spent. Also he told me yes I needed to change the disposal. It's just not practical to leave an old appliance like that with everything else being changed.
