I have a radon mitigation system in my home and the other day I woke one morning to find one of the hoses had come off a 3/4" brass nipple and water was gushing out onto the floor (concrete fortunately, but still a big mess). If I hadn't been home at the time it would've probably run the well dry and caused all kinds of damage.

Can someone recommend a reliable water detection device that I could put on the floor so that if the floor became wet it would automatically shut off the well pump or close a valve in the supply line? I've been Googling around but not finding the right product.

Thanks much.
