Try tightening it first

looks to be a split in the pipe
here is what you do...
crawl up in the attic at night, when it is cool.
remove that band using a 5/16 nut driver/socket
remove the plastic pipe from the cast iron hub.
it will not be easy, it will require beating it loose with a hammer
that split will actually help in its removal
use a screw driver and hammer to remove the lead and oakum in the hub surrounding the plastic pipe
go to your local plumbing sales counter
I can not tell by the picture, the pipe looks to b a 3'' pipe
tell the counter guy you need a
E-Z- tite hub gasket
do not accept any other type..
install the gasket in the hub
slather the gasket liberally with soap
measure the length of pipe needed
cut
bevel, the plastic pipe with a file, this is important
bevel the pipe, did I mention you need to BEVEL the plastic pipe?
slather the pipe with soap
push, wiggle side to side the pipe into the gasket till you feel it hit bottom
reattach the band
pop a top, put your feet up
the eztite gasket ribs are friendler to a guy pushing a plastic pipe into it
the other gaskets are not so friendly. down right hostile

I thought the same thing as Frodo, but, on closer inspection of the picture, I realized that what I thought was a split in the pipe, was simply a drip of water running down.
