House has two toilets. I did the dye test, and both of them leak, but very slow. After about ten minutes, you see only a small trace of the dye in the bowl. The flappers are new. I went to my neighborhood plumbing supply and asked him if the flapper is supposed to be a perfect seal, or if a certain amount of leakage is normal. He said it should be a perfect seal with no leakage. He said I may have used the wrong flappers. When I asked him how does one know which flapper to use, since there are no numbers to cross reference the part, he really couldn’t give me a straight answer. Is there a way to totally stop the leak?
