aluminum plates, 1/2" heat pex, a manifold if you have zoning, a tempering valve, thermostats. I like circulators on push for radiant, keep all runs under 300' (a roll). Taco makes a nice board for either zone valves or circulators. keep the loops away from outside walls and dont do under kitchen counters. keep the loops continuous ie no fittings. An oil boiler is just like gas except it burns oil and costs more to run, for solid fuel its heating water that can be circulated. A taco 007 has a high lift but doesnt push that much volume, its more suited for baseboard. put valves on either side of circulators. you can make it simple or fancy but they both work. you can use a thermostat with a relay to turn on a circulator and also turn the boiler on from a remote location cheaply. You need two sets of plates per bay and you have to insulate under them. If you are looking for specifics for your house you have to provide details whew thats all I got for now
