Hi,
I recently installed a spin filter and a 10" triple filter system in our well house located 10 meters away from the house. The filters were placed right after the pressure gauge tank. Gauge displays 2.5 bars/28 psi
Since then, all taps in the house (hot/cold) will show a slow flow decrease in pressure and come to a full stop after about 20 secs when opened. Close the tap again, wait few mins .. the water is back and slowly goes to a stop again and so on. I also noticed that the cold water tap is jamming (air locks in the pipe??) could this be a loss a pressure in the tank that needs adjustment. ?
appreciate if someone could help troubleshooting that scenario.

check your aerators.....sounds like you sent some crud thru if your having a hard time opening a faucet...do you have a bleeder/drain point at the filter
 
Check the pressure gauge on the pressure tank. If it is working between 30/50 or 40/60 then you have a restriction after the tank. You added filters then stated having problems?? Filter elements could be too small and already plugged up.

First gauge reads2.5 bar, the second on the spin filter= 2.0bar.
Our well recently collapsed and a new one was bored before Xmas. (You can the pipe coming from outside) . Until the new well got bored, we were pumping a large amount of sediments and we probably still have a cheer amount of it in our pipe at home to... spin filter is 50 micro, then 2 carbon filters with 10 micron filter and last filter is 1 micron down. . On another UK forum, someone suggested the expansion vessel bladder mruptured!could be the bladder did not like the amount of sediments that it was exposed to lately. However, it was working fine right before I installed the inline filtration system. One way to check i suppose would be to temporarily refit the pipe the way it was before...

or you could remove the filter cartridges and see what happens
 
So I removed the cartridges that appeared already plugged up. Flushed the spin filter. Re-Opened the tank valve. Filters very slowly fills up. There is also little pressure when I flushed the spin filter.
I wonder if there could be someone wrong with the well pressure tank.. It looks like it is empty (i could easily lift it up) ..Could it be that I need to re-pressurize the tank although it reads 2.5 bar at the gauge ?
 
Water and pressure come from the pump, not the tank. A bad tank can make the pump cycle on/off rapidly, but will not decrease the pressure or flow. What does the pressure gauge read while this is happening?
 
Ok I re-connected the pipe the way it was prior to fitting the filtration system. Pressure is back to normal and now have water. I guess there was some sort of blockage in the spin filter fitting and/or the entire system caused dramatic pressure drop. I will need to investigate the matter in the good time. I am done with plumbing for now. Thanks for helping out.
