main line replacement question

Guys,
Tomorrow I will be (begin) replacing my main line (cast iron, circa 1970) with PVC.

Question: What would be the proper method and/or material I should use to seal the foundation penetration?

Concrete BLOCK wall w/crawl space. No basement.

That area usually stays a bit damp.
I get some seepage after moderate rain.
Gets wet along that section after heavy rain.
No standing water (outside) after rains, has adequate run-off/drainage away from the house.

Hydraulic cement

Hydraulic Cement... Ball it up and keep packing it in until the gaps are completely sealed. It actually reacts with any ground water (any water actually) to become water tight. Great stuff. One thing I've seen guys try is spray foam! DO NOT TRY THIS!!!! It will soak up water like a sponge!

I usually fill block cavity with the great stuff foam made for water barrier. The label has koi pond on it. Then fill around block with hydro cement. But hydro is pretty good stuff. But be ready and be fast. It sets up hot and fast.

Non shrink grout.

Not too tough of a day, still gotta do the sealer and cover up. Apparently sealing penetrations in the 70's wasn't common! There was ZERO evidence of any type of sealing/waterproofing! Just dirt since day-1!..

Understood froto. But you're a bit late to the party. I just happened to get an email notification on this and thought, oh, I just did that job, then found it was my own thread!! Ha ha.

I stopped of at another party before getting here, got wasted lost my keys then hooked up with some crazy ass pole dancer chick who tried to steal my wallet. After I kicked her out of the hotel room i found my keys under the bed
