Hello,

I was wondering what size of a liquid propane line should I use for a 75,100 BTU water heater? The length is around 25ft and the water pressure is 150lbs. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I suggest you figure out a way to lower your water pressure fist off

Second what size gas line is coming off the propane tank. Are you hooking up to an existing propane line or you having a brand new tank set just for this water heater? Are you planning on only using this said tank just for the water heater or are you eventually going to tee off at for other appliances

I suggest you contact your local licensed plumbing co. for sizing and running a gas line

Do not mean to be a Richard, We will not help you run a gas line

if you need help with drains or water, sewer, fixtures or the best gun to use to hunt rabbits
we will be more than happy to help

It's a brand new tank set, just for a water heater. Not sure about the gas line coming off the propane tank yet. I'm thinking about installing the propane line by myself. I'd like to know which line size I should use.

Id go three-quarter inch if you're using black steel 5/8 inch if using copper. The water heater connection will be half an inch but you'll have plenty of extra with the larger size
