my basement wet bar is backing up. The plumping ties into the kitchen sink and dishwasher. I took a panorama of the plumbing. Not sure if it’s plumbed wrong, I have a backup, or should add a pump under the sink. Would love some advice as I have no plumbing knowledge and you all are much smarter than me!

Per Wisconsin plumbing code ...

(a) Horizontal branch drains.
1. The minimum pitch of horizontal branch drains 2" or less in diameter shall be 1/4" per foot.
2. The minimum pitch of horizontal branch drains larger than 2‶ in diameter shall be 1/ 8" per foot.

is this a new install????? I forget how those air admittance valves connect.....if it threads on unscrew it then run some water see what happens...if its still clogged you can snake the drain from the trap or the air admittance valve....or screw the air admittance valve back in and try a plunger.....there is also a large clean out on your main drain it can also be snake from there......plunging is the easiest way......snaking from the trap is the most thorough way

It appears to be fairly new. It was in the house when we purchased it. Do you think it’s a clog backing it up? Or not enough pitch?

is the kitchen sink/dishwasher tied into that 1 1/2'' line
or are they upstairs draining into the 2'' line?
That is the kitchen sink plumbing. Tried to plunge the wet bar sink and use some drain opener. The sink still gets standing water when run. Assuming next step is to snake?

yes.....drain the water from the trap plug or vaccum it from the sink drain you can rent 1/4 by 25 ' snake and try that best …. advice to give when snaking is to be patient don't force it usually when you hit a clog the snake motor will slow down alittle. go right into the main.... '

lol. that reminds me of Dan
I had a 2 year Apprentice that thought he knew more than he did, was getting a little big for his britches and needed to be brought down a peg.
we got a call to go to a business office with a parking garage under it
they had stopped up drains.
I walked around feeling the pipe, trying to feel heat.
Dan sets a ladder up at a clean out plug, and starts unscrewing the plug
I said. hey Dan, I think you might want to move that ladder so that CO is not looking at you but is pointed away.
Dan siad he had done this before and knew what he was doing.
I stepped behind the Truck.
the plug came off and Dan was knocked off the ladder by a 4'' stream of raw sewage
I just laughed my ass off and told him he was ridding in the back of the truck on the way to the shop

Yes it drains. It backs up when the dishwasher is run.
