Hello everyone,

My wife and I recently moved to a 2 bed 2 bath apartment and I've had issues with the second bathroom from day 1. The toilet had almost no pressure and would take 2-3 flushes to just get the water through the bowl. I did a bunch of research and used Muriatic acid to clean out the rim holes which seemed to have helped quite a bit. The toilet flushes significantly better now but it still seems to be lacking some power.

Wondering if you guys can help me identify the make and model of the toilet to see if I can change out some of its parts and/or see what my options are. The apartment management company is not being much help unfortunately.

I see "Crane Plumbing" behind the toilet seat. Under the water tank lid, I see the following text:
"RPL 0"
"3 DEC282002"
"3-74"

In the water tank, I see this "92DEC282002"

Cheers!

I would consider new toilet. Crane is good but that toilet is old and jets will clog again. if youre set on keeping.. any plumbing supply shop will have fill valves and flappers to rebuild insides

take the numbers you got from the back of the tank along with a pic of the toilet and a pic of the brand name behind the seat they should be able to give you exact replacement parts......I work for a large college in boston...2 of our dorms have crane toilets.... probably 200 total yeh every once and a while they clog but so far...15 years
they aren't to bad spend the money on the replacement parts.....I like to repair if I can 1st then replace.....yeh a toto is a better toilet..... but its probably 300+ then
if you cant install it yourself add that to the cost of the toilet.....just my opinion
