When I google it, this doesn't look like either an S trap or a P trap. Help?

Yeah s trap. Plumbing cops are coming. Run RU RUN there’s something illegal.

It’s against current code. Might give a gurgle gurgle but my house built in 92. Each sink in my house has a s trap. I don’t agree with it but we don’t have gurgle gurgle or smell. So against code doesn’t mean won’t work. What’s the old problem vs the brand new problem ?

Thanks for the help. I wanted to replace these because the sinks are slow draining. I've tried drano and all that. Ended up ripping this out today and replacing with new pipes. There was so much gunk in there it wasn't funny. The sink drains fine now. I now see why they gerry rigged it.....the main drain line is so far back in the cabinet that a regular S trap wouldn't reach it.....so I guess they did whatever they could with spare parts.

Some of us do tend to do that. But your gold. Good job. Buy ya self a beverage and call it on me. Lol.

I think you need a little more than just a P-trap. Something along these lines.
Having the 2 sink drains connected at right angle.
Having the aux drain connection before trap, not after trap.
Having an AAV(Air Admittance Valve) since you don't appear to have a vent.
Maybe a cleanout plug in the trap.
