so my wife and I just bought a trailer where we work and are fixing it up. Amongst everything else we are fixing now the showers hot water will not turn off and has now stained the tub do to the amount of iron and whatever else is in the untreated water. I have never seen valves like this but the video below shows as much as I could remove to see if anyone could help me with this. The video starts with the valve in the off position. I’m able to turn it further right without the extension on but all that does is turn the water back on. I’m not sure what inside of that valve would go bad or how to fix it. Any help or anyone that could lead me in the right direction or even let me know what kind of valve it is so I can try and research is greatly appreciated.

Our major supplier is Blevins supply house. For module home stuff. But don’t let anyone tell you that a regular valve won’t work. Any 2 handle valve new name brand will work. But a mobile home valve is cheaper. I can’t think of name you have but it’s a cartridge style. All the seals are contained in that white piece and comes out as one unit. Hot and cold. Rebuild both. They both the same age. Just to save the headache later. Always use a water regulator on any home especially trailers. Set it at about 60 psi. We remodel those with delta single handle and a large conversion plate to cover the outer 2 holes. Looks pretty good. And you have lifetime replacement with delta. Register everything so you don’t have to find anything in 10 years.
