Hey there.

We moved into a new house about a year ago and the entire time we have been here, two of our four bathrooms have had issues with the bathtub faucet gurgling and sputtering water when the handle is pointed to the middle, or warm, position. When this is happening, the manabloc in the utility room is banging against the wall as it tries to either draw or send water. At first we thought it might be water hammer, but it looks like that tends to be a problem when turning off the water? We have had two plumbers look at it, one of which changed the valves, which seemed to help for a couple of days, but then the problem was back. I am very frustrated and I hate to dump more money into guesswork. Do you have any idea of what is going on and how we can fix it? The problem only happens in ONE of the upstairs bathrooms and the bathroom in the basement. Not sure why it doesn't affect the other two.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Could be abs drain pipes expanding in Walls when they get hot they make a cracking or propping sound

Can you show a picture of your faucet. It could be a bad cartridge in the faucet. Hopefully a picture and a brand name will tell us what cartridge you need.
