hi, I’m looking for recommendations for s good, inexpensive high flush toilet...
I have low flush toilets and they suck!!!
Someone mentioned Toto toilets? But they’re pricy....

I’m curious what are the highest flush toilets on the market? And not too pricy, as I’m replacing all 3 of my toilets

Toto for sure spend the money the first time and it will pay off. Been putting toto toilets in for years and never had any problems. You know the old saying you get what you pay for

Big flush valve and never clogs plus low flow which saves water
So flush valve size is important. Good to know.. I’m finding most 1.28 gpf toilets have 3 “ flush valves. I found an American Standard that has.a 4”, for $30 more. It’s only a 1.28 gpf though.
I’d really like a 1.6 gal though.
Would you buy this American Standard 4”, complete kit w/slow close seat for $199?

Ur not gonna find anything but 1.28 everything else is illegal and they dont make them

I don't like American standard toilets. Toto are a good toilets. We sell Kohler and Gerber.

Buy One and stick it in. If you don't like it, your only out one and not 3

1.6 is still legal in the US. However, local codes in areas like California are more likely to require 1.28. Looking at Home Depot inventory however shows that 1.6 is going extinct. Not very many 1.6 options any more.
Pretty much anything you buy now will have good flush performance. Just stay away from the economy models and you should be fine. You really can flush a bucket of golf balls with these new toilets.
I would second the Toto recommendation just because the mechanism is probably more durable. With cheaper units you will find that after 4-5 years there will be issues with the mechanism. Having to replace the entire flush valve assembly is not like it was in the old days. Each brand has proprietary components that will be expensive and hard to get.
The hardest part is picking the options. Short vs tall, round vs elongated, anti-microbial coatings, one piece vs two piece, etc...
My favorite feature is the tank mounting point that is an inch or so above the top of the bowl. Such a simple thing but it makes all the difference in keeping everything clean.
