Sewer liners and snakes

I recently ran into a job where I was using my cable to open a backed up line, the line has a sewer liner in it, I ended up chewing up some of the liner. I wanted to know who should be held responsible ? I ended up having to bite the costs.

was it a relined pipe or was it epoxy coated cast iron??????

Cured in place pipelining inside old clay line.

does the owner know who relined the pipe...contact them if so when you say you chewed up some liner did it come out on the head or did you camera it....we just had that done at work in multiple spots and its made so you can snake it...our drains were cast iron...if you still have the piece of the liner you should contact the lining co even if you don't have the piece still contact them...
