I have used Sil Phos a few times doing A/C work and had good luck with it. Have also done some brazing/silver soldering with both brass and silver when building and repairing road bike frames but that was 40 yrs ago 
Thanks for the clarification on melting temp. I thought 219F was a bit to close to water boiling temp. 291F much more believable.

Not sure who this was aimed at, however if me thanks, you are more than welcome. While I would not amount to a pimple on a plumber ass, I know physics pretty well and I knew a misprint had to be the explanation.
