hello all
Thanks in advance for any help. I put an offer on a house that is 41 years old with the original septic system. The system is set up with a distribution box that goes to 4 dry wells. Upon inspection 2 wells had no flow and one had root maps geowing in it.They agreed to clean pipes to dry wells using jet machine and video inspect to make sure clear of all roots. If possible install speed levelers as needed to adjust flow away from dry Wells with higher water levels.
If distribution box is metal or not in satisfactory condition:
-remove old box
-replace pipes from box to septic tank
-connect existing pipes to existing dry wells

Basically I have concerns about how long I can expect to get out of the system if these repairs are done. Also I was concerned that the part about the distribution box just says remove old one and connect pipes. It sounds to me like they would be eliminating th d-box. Is that even possible? I’m assuming they just worded it wrong but I’m skeptical and the company “couldn’t talk to me because I’m not their client” I am going to call again and hopefully get someone else who will talk but I just wanted and overall input from experts on the situation.Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I should have specified that all of that was per inspection report.
