Our contractor installed new hot and cold water plumbing lines to a new faucet and shower head. The faucet shower head combo is the Kohler worth. Ever since the install, both the showerhead and faucet release a little green sediment. I’ve filled and emptied the tub six times and we’re still getting the material. Also, the handle roatates 360 degrees, there is no stop. Any ideas? No other faucets in the home have this problem or ever had this problem.

Maybe that contractor used corrosive flux. The new lines copper?

old copper can oxidize creating green flakes that sometime get disturbed and show up when you turn water back on but using get flushed out after initial purge.
