I need a new 12" roughed in toilet. It's a little overwhelming with all the choices out there. I never realized how complicated toilets can be. lol

I've read on a couple of sites that the Toto Drake is the toilet to buy. I welcome peoples opinions and also advice on where good pricing can be found for an item like this. Thanks in advance!!

I just picked up 2 American Standard champ 4's for 199 a piece. I love the champ series

It's like asking someone what is better, Chevy or Ford. It all depends on the model.

I agree - too many options out there.

Any pro opinions about the Toto Aquia? Looks like it may be difficult to install:

Toto CST416M#03 Bone Aquia II Two Piece Elongated Dual Flush Toilet

I like the Toto Drake. It has a 3" flush valve so it flushes well. 12" rough-in. It's available in 1.28gpf, 1.6gpf, etc. You can even get it with a sanagloss coating that makes it so it doesn't have to be cleaned as often.

There's also the Toto Entrada https://www.lowes.com/pd/TOTO-Entra...ngated-Chair-Height-2-Piece-Toilet/1000094397

The two-piece toilets are relatively easy to install. I installed a Drake and that is what I'm using in my home. The Entrada is similar to the Drake.

Not a bad price on that Toto. I have installed many high end Toto's through out the years and never cared for them. These were all 600 and up models with special flange connections that were a pain in the hynoose.

The Am Standard i picked up has a 4" flush and full 2 3/8" trap and is 1.28 GPF

I bought two Toto Ultramax IIs for under $500 each and so far they are awesome. Very easy to install as well.
