The fittings you have there are not for pressure. They’re DWV fittings.

Please label the orientation of your pic. Is that looking up at the pipe ? Is the pipe horizontal or vertical? Looking down at the pipe ?

More info this pipe connects to sump

Looking up to the pipe, horizontal

From the pics it appears you are pumping the sump into the (sanitary) sewer?!? Huge NO-NO in PA & NJ. Schedule 40 is rated way over any (household) sump pump (1/4hp - 20psi - 3/4HP - 80psi) - I can't imagine that is what he's failing it for.

I guess he wants pressure fittings on the discharge.

We can’t pump ground water into the sewer here either, they have to treat that water. 🤫

Hamberg and I would like to know what your inspector says about you pumping ground water into the sewer.

He is fine otherwise he should have objected by now.

Welllllllll, he's not being specific with what he's failing you for (I'm assuming you asked for details?)

“Pressure and pipe fittings to horizontal 712” is referring to the IPC (Sumps & Ejectors) quick look, it doesn't appear using a S40 fitting would be a problem!?

Also, making the assumption the flow is bottom to top in the last pic?

Also, also,

It’s not discharging into a wye fitting that’s turned up to the top of the pipe. . The OP has it on its side.
Section : 712.3.5

Yes I asked him what is the particular reason he said pipe is fine as it is rated for 240 psi fittings are not for pressure and they need to be replaced everything else is fine as this is 3rd inspection.
