Hi all - first time posting here after lurking for a while! I'm a new homeowner who inherited a dripping shower faucet and am looking for some advice on how to fix it. The drip feels warm, but not hot and I noticed the hot water handle is loose.

Today I tried to do some troubleshooting and was able to remove the stem for the cold water, but wasn't sure how to remove the stem for the hot water (to the left of the diverter). When I reassembled I noticed the hot water handle screw is stripped and I wasn't able to tighten it completely (loose handle mentioned above). I also turned the cold water on first and the faucet stopped dripping after a few seconds which makes me think the drip has something to do with the hot water.

Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Thanks @Geofd any advice on removing the left stem? It seems like a plastic end and I was nervous to go at it with pliers.

It's still dripping 😥 Will hopefully revisit this weekend and will update on any progress!
