No Water in Shower

I am not getting any water in my shower. I have hot and cold to the sink in that bathroom. I have replaced the cartridge and the balancing valve to the shower. What other options are there?

Should have mentioned, this is a shower only. I have pulled the shower head and did not have water. I also turned water on with the cartridge taken off and did have some water coming through balancing valve, but it definitely was not full pressure water. Once I put the new cartridge back on I get no water.

I do not have any other valves prior to the shower. I should note that the shower did work previously. It continually got slower and slower and ultimately stopped working period.

can you get a wet vac in there see if you can remove debris where hot/cold enter the valve body

I’ve tried this with no results unfortunately. I have also put a very large wire tie (about 36”) down the pipe that goes to the shower head to try and remove any obstructions. No success there either.

Yes, both the hot and cold work properly at the sink with normal pressure and the toilet works normally.

I would suggest pulling the cartridge, and looking for debris of some type blocking the hole in the valve body that leads to the shower riser. Possibly send compressed air from the shower head end to blow out any debris. If you don't have an air compressor, you could also use the exhaust from a shop vac.

The brand is American Standard. The trim kit is a Seva series model 1480.502. Hopefully that answer the your question. i\If you need additional information, please let me know.

I would suggest pulling the cartridge, and looking for debris of some type blocking the hole in the valve body that leads to the shower riser. Possibly send compressed air from the shower head end to blow out any debris. If you don't have an air compressor, you could also use the exhaust from a shop vac.

Thank you to jeffmatero76 and also to everyone else for your assistance. I pulled the balancing valve and cartridge, blew compressed in from the shower head pipe, cleared out debris, and we now have water flowing to the shower again. Much gratitude to all of you. You were all a big help.
