Can someone help me identify the fixation ring or the pressure balancing valve on this shower valve. I don’t have any numbers. It’s an American Standard Valve. The trim kit is Seva. It’s approximately 15 years old. I’ve looked many places and cannot find the identical shape that matches the fixation ring! Hoping someone has seen it and remembers it.

Remove the screws and take out the tumbler. Call any wholesale house in your town and drop in and pick one up. I think....and I could be wrong, there is only one tumbler(balancer) for that valve.

Thanks for the reply. I have had the balancing unit out and, regretfully, it is not a standard balancing valve. It is an oddball balancing valves and that’s why I am trying to see if anyone possibly recognizes the face on this balancing valve. I’ve shown this same picture to a plumber and a guy at a plumbing supply house and neither one could positively identify the unit.

I found 4 different pressure balancing spools numbers. Bad for you. Send your pictures to this email. [email protected] This is a person that identifies American standard parts. Her name is Anna Rollins. She can tell you which parts you need.

Thanks you for the reply, your research, and the contact at American Standard! Your help is greatly appreciated! I will send the photos for sure.

Thanks to RenewDave! I heard back from Anna Rollins at American Standard. She helped me identify the balancing spool and we have it on order. Thanks for the recommendation. Much appreciated!
