I was cutting out the old cast iron main stack with a grinder and it grabbed and shot out and hit a hot water rad pipe going to the second floor, it's not leaking but is there something I can wrap it with for extra security. I really don't want to splice it because I would have to drain the system and its really old. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
