Proper tie-in Main drain line

I have installed an outdoor kitchen with drain ... what is the proper (code) tie-in for that drain into the main sewer line immediately prior to entering the septic system ?? I have a 4" PVC main going into the septic tank and a new 2" PVC drain line to connect.

You have to use a directional fitting like a 4 x 2 wye or combo.
and you have to use the right type of connector.
meaning you cannot just cut the 4", slip in the 4x2 wye and duct tape them together.

How would you properly vent a setup like this?

Good question.
Probably with an AAV.
Not likely you are going to have a vent pipe sticking 8ft up on the air.

I would use the oldschool 3'' drain/waste/vent
